The Dead Sea is the lowest point on earth. It's located in the Judean Desert in southern Israel and bordered by Jordan to the east. It's one of 4 of the saltiest bodies of water in the world. Because of the large salt content the shores of the Dead Sea glitter with crystallized sodium chloride. The minerals found in the dead sea and its mud are globally renowned for having therapeutic benefits that improve many skin conditions.
